An injection-molded plastic kit of the German 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun in its late production version, complemented by figures of the artillery crew, in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The package typically contains a detailed model of the gun, a set of figures, photo-etched parts and shells with crates; check the exact contents against the manufacturer's information. It is a combination of a weapon and figures on one kit basis.
The 7.5 cm PaK 40 was the standard German anti-tank gun of the Second World War, committed from 1942 onward. Thanks to its powerful ammunition it could destroy most Allied tanks at normal combat ranges and became the backbone of German anti-tank defense. The late version differed from the earlier ones in details of execution. The figures capture the crew handling the gun.
Glue the gun with liquid cement for plastic and attach the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the mechanism and the carriage before the assembly is finished. Bring the metal of the gun to life with a dark wash and pigments, paint the crew figures separately and place them in the scene only at the end. Handle the uniforms and equipment factually according to period reality.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
