This is a resin detail set, not a vehicle kit. It contains a faithfully rendered early type of German fire extinguisher of the kind mounted on the fenders and hulls of German armored and wheeled vehicles in the early part of the Second World War. The fine resin captures the shape of the cylinder, the clamps and the small controls, which tend to be simplified on plastic parts.
Small equipment such as a fire extinguisher gives a model of an armored vehicle fidelity and a sense of scale. The part is fitted in its intended place on the vehicle and, once painted, reads as a striking accent. It also suits dioramas and scenic work.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the support and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the body red and complete the metal parts with a dry brush and a wash to bring out the detail.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
