German Panzergrenadiers 1939-1942 is a set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:35 scale from Master Box, intended for dioramas and for rounding out Second World War vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures of German motorized infantrymen (Panzergrenadiers) from the years 1939 to 1942 in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The set contains four figures in the dynamic poses of an advancing infantry squad and is conceived as an addition to vehicles and dioramas. The box usually consists of two sprues with the figures and their equipment and illustrated instructions. This is a figure set, not a model of a vehicle.
Panzergrenadiers were motorized infantry who accompanied and supported the tanks at the point of an attack. They were a key element of German fast-advance tactics at the start of the Second World War. The set captures their typical equipment and poses from the first years of the war, when these units operated together with armor.
Separate the parts from the sprue with a sharp knife and clean up the mold lines. Glue the figures with liquid cement for plastic. It pays to paint the heads, the arms and the equipment separately, so that you can reach into the folds. For the uniforms a base tone, a fine wash in the folds and a dry brush on the edges work well; build the faces up from a flesh tone through the shadows to the highlights.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
