The set holds resin castings of the CVC helmets used by the crews of armored vehicles of the Israeli army, complemented by photo-etched metal parts for the finest pieces. It is not a kit of a vehicle or of a figure but a detail accessory with which you replace the coarser shape supplied in an ordinary set of figures.
The designation CVC belongs to the helmets of the crews of fighting vehicles. It does not protect against projectiles but against knocks inside a cramped space, and above all it carries the headphones and the microphone of the intercom. Without it a crew cannot make themselves understood over the noise of the engine and the gun. Israeli armored units used several progressively modified versions, and it is the type designation that tells them apart, so a helmet matching the chosen period can be selected.
Free the resin parts of mold release agent and cut the casting remains off where the head of the figure will cover them afterward. Degrease the photo-etched pieces before bending and shape them over the edge of a ruler so that the bends are sharp. Metal holds on resin only with cyanoacrylate glue and only on a degreased surface. Count on the head of the figure most likely needing to be adjusted so that the helmet seats. A little sanding is an ordinary part of the work with accessories of this kind.
