This detail set brings the Italian M33 pattern steel helmet in 1:35 scale, made by 3D printing in resin. The package holds several helmets, among them a variant with a cockade, so they can be used for figures of the Italian army or as small equipment in a diorama. The parts have a fine surface and a crisp rendering of the shape of the helmet. The M33 helmet was the standard Italian helmet from the 1930s and served throughout the Second World War. This is a fine accessory for superdetailing, not a figure in its own right.

Use

• Separate the parts from the print supports carefully, or first dip them briefly in warm water to soften the resin.
• Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Apply a primer before painting and paint the helmets with ordinary modeling paints.
• Pick the surface out with a glaze and a dry brush to emphasize the shape.
