The set 1:35 Kitchen furniture brings the furnishings of a kitchen together in one resin set. On a diorama it suits places where a patrol has stopped to eat, where a unit has its quarters in a dwelling house or where civilians share the space with soldiers.
The kitchen used to be the warmest and most lived-in room of a European house, and the war changed nothing about that, as this is exactly where people and soldiers alike gathered. A solid-fuel stove with a hotplate and an oven, a heavy wooden table, a shelf of crockery and a stone sink were typical furnishings well into the 1950s. A model kitchen can therefore convey the everydayness that turns a combat scene into a human story.
Leave the cast-iron stove in a dark gray and polish it with graphite, so that it gets the right matte metallic tinge. Rub the wooden surfaces of the work table with a dry brush along the grain and brighten the edges a little. Enameled pots are worth painting separately and only then setting out. Wash the parts before the finish and let them dry perfectly, otherwise the paint holds badly on smooth resin. Think the arrangement out in advance, because in a finished room the furniture is hard to move.
The item comes without paints and without adhesive.
