This is not a vehicle kit but a resin (3D printed) set of the American M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle in 1:35 scale. It serves to arm figures and to dress up dioramas and weapon racks. Thanks to the fine 3D print the rifle has faithful proportions and legible detail of the stock, the barrel and the action.
The M1 Garand was the standard semi-automatic rifle of the US Army in .30-06 caliber from the end of the 1930s. It proved itself a reliable infantry weapon in the Second World War as well as in the Korean War and is among the icons of American armament of the 20th century. It replaced older bolt-action rifles and gave the American soldier the advantage of faster fire.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and separate them gently from the carrier blocks; the slender parts are fragile. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Render the wooden stock in brown shades and the metal parts in dark steel with fine dry brushing; a wash will bring out the engraving.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
