Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German super heavy tank Panzer VIII Maus in 1:35 scale from the maker Dragon. It is a classic mold of this maker capturing the massive hull and turret of the prototype. The model is unassembled and unpainted, meant to be glued with ordinary modeling cement for plastic.
The Maus was a German super heavy tank developed at the end of the Second World War and it is considered the heaviest and largest tank ever built: its weight was around 180 tons. Only prototypes were completed, and the vehicle never saw series production or real combat. Its concept with extreme armor and massive armament ran into unsolvable problems with the powerplant and with mobility.
Assemble and paint the large hull and the running gear before closing up the hull. We recommend a base of primer, applying the camouflage with an airbrush and bringing the large area of armor to life with shade modulation, washes and pigments for dust and mud effects. Accentuate the engraved lines with a paneliner.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
