1:35 Road accessories n.1 is the first Royal Model set of road equipment for scenes that take place on a road.
Responsibility details are not available.
The elements that line every road make up an inconspicuous but necessary background in a modeling scene. The first set of Royal Model road accessories offers them in 1:35 scale for dioramas whose action takes place on a road or in its immediate vicinity.
A roadway is the most frequent setting in military modeling of all: columns move along it, checkpoints stand on it, and most encounters between soldiers and civilians happen beside it. But a strip of asphalt on its own looks empty. Only the edge, the surroundings and the markings give a road scale and decide whether it is a main route or a forgotten link between villages. The numbered line is also built so that the individual sets can be combined and a believable stretch gradually grows out of a bare surface.
Think the layout through before you start gluing: the elements belong in a rhythm, not spread evenly along the whole length. Keep them subdued in color, because bright shades would overwhelm the main model. Dust from the roadway is applied from the ground upward and fades away toward the top; that transition will do more for credibility than the best base coat.
It is supplied without paints and without glue.
