This is not a vehicle kit but a detail accessory for the cab — a color, pre-printed photo-etched instrument panel for the British heavy tractor Scammell Pioneer. The panel is put together from laminated etched layers, so it has real depth, and the instruments are printed in color and coated with gloss varnish imitating the glasses. It is fitted in place of the plastic panel from the kit and markedly raises the credibility of the cab.
The Scammell Pioneer was a British heavy wheeled tractor of the Second World War period. It was used in several forms — as an artillery tractor, a recovery vehicle and a chassis for transporting tanks. It was a sturdy machine valued for getting through difficult terrain.
Separate the panel carefully from the fret, gently adjust it if needed and glue it on with a small drop of cyanoacrylate or clear glue. Try the shape dry before gluing it in, so that it sits in the cab exactly.
This is an accessory for the interior, not a whole model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
