An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panther medium tank in the Ausf.G version in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The Ausf.G was the most widespread production variant of the Panther. The set tends to be completed with photo-etched parts and individual track links; the exact package contents differ between editions.
The Panther was among the most capable medium tanks of the Second World War. It combined the powerful 7.5 cm KwK 42 gun with its long L/70 barrel, excellent penetration and sloped armor with good mobility. The Ausf.G version brought a simplified and more resistant design of the hull sides without the driver's front vision port. The Ausf.G Panthers bore the main weight of the fighting on both fronts in 1944 and 1945.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Assemble and paint the running gear with its large road wheels before you close the hull. A primer and an airbrush are recommended; the late scheme of Dunkelgelb, green and brown is typical. A surface with Zimmerit, washes in the welds and pigments for mud will give the model a battlefield look, and you can bring the edges to life with fine chipping.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
