Responsibility details are not available.
A diorama accessory in 1:35 scale. It contains a section of sea surface and a figure, and it is prepared for a model of the craft which the name of the item designates MBT Barchino. The surface is shaped in advance, so the most laborious part of building a water scene falls away.
A small craft on a bare base looks like a museum exhibit. As soon as you set it into a water surface it gains direction, draft and speed, because the wave around the hull gives away whether the machine is standing or moving. The figure adds scale to that and directs the viewer's eye where you need it.
First simply lay the model of the craft on the surface and find the angle at which the scene works. Cut any excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the edge back, then wash and degrease the surface. Paint the water from a dark shade in the depth to a lighter one at the crests of the waves, blur the transitions and pick the crests out at the end with a dry brush in white. Leave the gloss until last, as a thin coat of gloss varnish does more for a water surface than any paint beneath it. Paint the figure separately and set it into the scene only once it is finished.
The package contains the sea section and the figure. Paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
