This is a diorama accessory in the form of animals: a set of rabbits in 1:35 scale. The box states eight pieces. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its parts from photopolymer resin. Domestic animals are irreplaceable in a rural scene, because a single animal in a hutch by a farmhouse or out in the yard turns a military scene into a scene about the people who live there.
The rabbit is an animal commonly kept around country houses and is held in hutches or in pens by the building. For a modeler it is interesting for its shape: a short body, long ears and a prominent rear end, all of which have to read even on a small part, or the animal cannot be identified. That is exactly why printing pays off over casting with animals this small.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away very carefully and work with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the fur differently on every animal, because no two animals in a hutch are alike, and add the inside of the ear and the area around the eyes with the finest brush you have. A single color across the whole set is the most common mistake.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
