A turned metal detail accessory, not a model. The set contains a precisely turned metal barrel of the Soviet 152.4 mm ML-20S heavy gun-howitzer for the SU-152 self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale. The metal barrel replaces the plastic one from the model: it has a perfectly circular section with no parting seam, the correct taper, stepping and a clean muzzle. An accurately made muzzle brake is usually included. Made by Aber, the Polish specialist in metal accessories.
The SU-152 was a Soviet heavy self-propelled gun of the Second World War, built on a heavy tank chassis and armed with the massive 152.4 mm ML-20S gun-howitzer. For its effectiveness against armored vehicles it earned the nickname beast killer. The thick, long barrel is the most conspicuous feature of the whole vehicle.
For modelers who build the SU-152 in 1:35 scale and want a perfectly straight barrel with no seams. Even a less experienced modeler will manage the fitting; it needs only super glue.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
