A detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-60 light tank in the version produced by Plant No. 37 in Sverdlovsk in the spring of 1942, in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. As an Interior Kit it contains a fully detailed inside including the engine compartment and the engine. The model has a very high parts count; go by the enclosed instructions for the exact contents.
The T-60 was a Soviet light tank of the beginning of the Second World War, built in large numbers as a cheap vehicle that could be produced quickly. It was powered by an automotive engine and carried light armament. It was used above all in the first years of the war, when the Red Army needed to make good its losses fast.
An interior kit calls for a step-by-step approach: paint and assemble the inside of the hull and the engine compartment first, and only then close the hull up. Open hatches let the interior be shown. Given the number of small parts, patience and a glue that can be applied finely pay off; for painting, an airbrush, washes and pigments for weathering the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
