This is a 3D-printed (resin) detail set of the left General Electric T700 engine in 1:35 scale by Reskit. It is not a kit or a helicopter model, but an accurate replacement powerplant part designed for kits of H-60-family aircraft — the Sikorsky SH-60B, SH-60F, HH-60 and related carrier-based and land-based versions (typically the Kitty Hawk and Academy kits).
The set replaces the simplified plastic engine with an accurate 3D-printed part with fine detail of the casing, accessories and piping. It comes into its own especially when building with the engine bay exposed or the cowlings open, where the powerplant is on show. The set contains the left engine; the right side is sold as a separate set.
First wash the parts to remove any release-agent residue. Cut away the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces – when sanding resin, protect your airways. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting, and spray the metal tones and soot staining with an airbrush in thin coats. Check the fit against your specific kit before gluing.
This is a detail accessory, not a helicopter model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
