This is not a vehicle kit but a set of detail accessories in 1:35 scale. The resin wooden boxes, with finely modeled wood texture, serve as convincing stowage and equipment for the German Pz.Bef.Wg. III Ausf. J command tank and as a way to bring a diorama to life. Photo-etched metal brackets and hinges are included and add a realistic touch.
The boxes are placed on the fenders, on the hull or around the vehicle as period stowage. The cast wood texture comes to life once it is painted and weathered, and it breaks up the uniform metal surfaces of the model. The photo-etched brackets and hinges are more convincing than smoothly molded plastic boxes.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or snap them off and sand the surfaces, with respiratory protection (do not inhale resin dust). Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wood comes to life with glazes and a dry brush, and the metal of the brackets is best darkened with a wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
