Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model of the 706 RTO bus in 1:43 scale from the Czech maker Abrex. The model is already assembled and painted; it is not a kit. It captures the characteristic mobile shop variant with the period lettering on the body.
The 706 RTO bus was among the most widespread buses on Czechoslovak roads at the end of the 1950s and in the 1960s. It was built in series from 1957 to 1972 and made its name through an elegant body and progressive engineering. The mobile shop version served to supply the countryside with basic food and consumer goods, typically in the network of consumer cooperatives, and today it is a rewarding subject for nostalgic collectors.
The model shows to advantage in a collector's display case or on a shelf. We recommend protecting it from direct sunlight and dust; a soft brush or a dry cloth is enough for cleaning. Handle the small parts and the mirrors with care.
This is a finished, assembled and painted collector's model, not a kit.
