An accurate resin replacement for the ACES II ejection seat in 1:48 scale from the Czech brand Art Scale. It replaces the coarser plastic seat from the ordinary kit of the A-10 attack aircraft with a finely detailed part. This version is supplied without seat harnesses; it is intended for modelers who want to use harnesses of their own, whether photo-etched, fabric or home-made. A variant with harnesses is available as well. The seat is recommended for Great Wall Hobby (GWH) kits.
In an open cockpit the seat is the most conspicuous element of the interior, and a faithful resin casting lifts the look of the cockpit considerably compared with the simplified plastic from the box. The ACES II (Advanced Concept Ejection Seat) is a modern American ejection seat used across types such as the A-10, the F-15 and the F-16; this one is rendered in the version for the A-10.
