This resin, 3D-printed set in 1:48 scale contains British aerial bases (antenna mounts) and roof observation periscopes for armored vehicles. It is not a kit but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified parts from base kits and gives a vehicle a faithful look in its equipment and communications fittings.
British tanks and armored vehicles of the Second World War carried aerial bases for the radio sets of the Wireless Set family on the hull and the turret, and roof periscopes for observation from a closed vehicle. These small but conspicuous features are often rendered only coarsely on kits, yet they markedly affect the overall fidelity of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and remove the supports. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and sanding should be done with respiratory protection. Before gluing, it is advisable to remove the original simplified parts from the model and level the area, so that the bases and the periscopes seat accurately.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin castings. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
