The D.H.4 was a British two-seat day bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the First World War, regarded as one of the best aircraft of its category. It was built with several types of engine; this version used the Siddeley Puma inline engine. The D.H.4 proved itself thanks to its good flying qualities and range and served with British and Allied units on the Western Front.
Use thin cement for plastic and glue the delicate parts with cyanoacrylate. Finish the interior of both cockpits before you close up the fuselage. We recommend doing the rigging only after painting, with elastic rigging thread or fine line. Lay down a primer before the color coats; the fabric surfaces come alive with gentle emphasis on the ribs and restrained weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
