This set is NOT an airplane model but a three-dimensional color interior in the form of a 3D decal on a decal backing, intended for the injection-molded Boston III (DB-7B) kit from HK Models. It contains photo-realistically pre-colored 3D printed parts (instrument panels, side panels, cockpit linings) that give the interior realistic relief and color. You have to own the basic HK Models kit separately.
Boston III was the British name for a twin-engine light bomber and attack aircraft derived from the American Douglas DB-7 family (known in US service as the A-20 Havoc). During the Second World War it was used among others by the British RAF for daylight attacks on ground targets.
The 3D decals release from the backing paper in lukewarm water and seat directly on the part like conventional decals - they create three-dimensional relief and a photo-realistic interior WITHOUT painting. Work in smaller sections so that the decal settles onto an uneven surface; do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, they attack the printed resin.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
