A set of 3D printed exhaust stacks for the Heinkel He 219 Uhu in 1:48 scale from 3DF. A detail accessory that replaces the plastic exhausts from the box; it is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed exhaust stacks for the twin-engine night fighter Heinkel He 219 Uhu in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic exhausts from the corresponding kit with more faithful parts with hollow ends and a finely rendered surface. It is made by the 3DF brand.
The He 219 Uhu was one of the most capable German night fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by a pair of liquid-cooled engines, from whose exhaust stacks along the sides of the engine nacelles flames licked on night sorties. Faithfully rendered exhausts are among the details that catch the eye at once on a finished model.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports and clean the surfaces up. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) onto a degreased surface. Protect your airways when sanding a resin 3D print. Tone the exhausts with a combination of dark metal, rusty and burnt shades, and pick the hollow ends out with a dark pigment.
This is a supplementary detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
