This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. It replaces the cockpit from the kit with a complete printed assembly: the tub, the instrument panels, the side consoles and the ejection seat. On a modern combat aircraft the cockpit is exactly the place where the difference between kit and reality is greatest, because the space is full of buttons, displays, lettering and wiring that an injection mold cannot reproduce. The transparent canopy meanwhile leaves all of this visible, so the work invested is not wasted. The designation detailed version means that this is the more demanding variant of the set.
The F-16I Sufa is a two-seat version of the F-16 adapted for the Israeli Air Force. It is told from standard aircraft above all by the conformal additions along the sides of the fuselage spine, which carry further equipment, and by different cockpit fittings. The two-seat arrangement is not a trainer but a combat layout, with a reduced fuel load in favor of electronics.
The set is for modelers of modern combat aircraft who want a cockpit that will take a close look. It assumes experience with printed parts and with painting small assemblies.
