A figure of an F-35 Lightning II pilot in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Reskit. A 3D printed figure, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a figure, not an aircraft model. The figure of a modern combat pilot differs from a Second World War pilot more than you would expect: the gear consists of a g-suit with hoses, a life vest, harness straps and above all a bulky helmet with a visor onto which flight data are projected. The helmet is unmistakable on this type and in 1:48 scale it is the most conspicuous detail of the whole figure. 3D printing manages the folds of the clothing, the buckles and the intricacy of the helmet more sharply than a mold. The set is designated as scene one.
The F-35 Lightning II is a single-seat fifth-generation combat aircraft with an emphasis on reduced detectability. The pilot has data from the surrounding sensors projected onto the visor of his helmet, so he can watch the airspace even through the structure of the aircraft. That is why the helmet is characteristic of this type.
The figure is for modelers of modern combat aircraft who are adding a crew to a finished machine, and for diorama builders. Painting a figure in this scale calls for practice and a fine brush.
It is not an aircraft model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
