The Zoom line set from Eduard is a simplified colored etched set focused on the most visible items of the cockpit of an F-35A Lightning II fighter model in 1:48 scale. It holds pre-printed self-adhesive parts, above all the colored instrument panel, the side consoles and the seat belts. Zoom is a selection from a larger colored etched set and concentrates on a quick and effective improvement. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory.
The Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is an American single-seat multirole fifth-generation fighter with features for a reduced radar signature. The F-35A version is intended for conventional takeoff and landing and is the most widespread variant of the family. The digital cockpit with its large touchscreen is characteristic of this type.
The pre-printed etched parts are self-adhesive. Degrease the surfaces before sticking them on and separate the parts with a sharp knife on a cutting surface. The edges can be gently blackened and the surface tied together with a matte clear coat.
This is a detail accessory for a matching kit in 1:48 scale; the airplane model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
