This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The O-max set from the maker Omask holds precisely cut painting masks for the canopy glazing and the other transparent areas, with foam (EVA) plugs for the landing gear bays added. The masks make it possible to spray the canopy frames cleanly, and the foam plugs protect the inside of the bays from paint during airbrushing.
The Fairey Firefly was a British two-seat carrier fighter and reconnaissance aircraft of the Fleet Air Arm. The Mk.I version served at the close of the Second World War; it combined solid armament with a long range for operations over the sea.
