It is a detail accessory, not an airplane model — it replaces a simplified or entirely missing part in the front cockpit and significantly raises the cockpit's believability.
The L-29 Delfin was a Czechoslovak jet trainer that, from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s, became the standard training type of the Warsaw Pact air forces and was exported to dozens of countries. Besides basic flight training, it also served for weapons training — it could carry light ordnance under its wings, and the instructor's or student's cockpit had a reflector gunsight of the ASP series installed. It projects an aiming reticle onto a folding reflector glass in front of the pilot, so the pilot can aim without looking away from the target. This is exactly the striking element of the front instrument panel that the set reproduces with a level of detail injection-molded plastic cannot offer.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base kit, glue, and paints are not included in the package. Use respiratory protection and ventilate when sanding resin.
