This product is not an aircraft model, but a detail accessory set. It consists of photo-etched metal parts designed to improve a model of the British fighter Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in 1:48 scale. Photo-etch provides thin, sharply defined details that are either too thick in injection-molded plastic or cannot be reproduced at all — typically cockpit elements, instrument panels, seatbelts, and small exterior details. Per its product name, the set is designed for the Arma Hobby kit.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was one of the key British fighters of the early Second World War and, alongside the Spitfire, bore the brunt of the Battle of Britain. Its rugged construction and distinctive cockpit make it a rewarding subject for detailed super-detailing.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface. Make straight bends using a photo-etch bending tool. Glue small parts with cyanoacrylate (super glue); flatter parts can also be fixed with photo-etch adhesive. A light wash will bring out the colored detail nicely.
