A detail accessory from Eduard: a set of landing gear wheels made by direct 3D printing. It is intended for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but replacement parts that supersede the basic wheels from the kit with more faithful tires with a fine tread and detailed hubs.

Use and fitting

  • Separate the wheels carefully from the print supports and clean them up.
  • Wash them before gluing and let them dry.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), which is recommended for 3D-printed parts.
  • For a realistic look pick out the tread and dust it lightly with pigments.
