This is an abrasive material, not a kit. The sanding sponge sheet from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby has the abrasive applied to a flexible foam backing, so it conforms to the shape of the surface as you work. That is the main difference from abrasive paper: on the fuselage of an aircraft, on the turret of a tank or on a rounded cowling, the sponge spreads the pressure and does not sand a curve down flat. The 600 grit is medium fine and suits work after filling.
For anyone who fills and sands curved surfaces. The 600 grit is a good all-round compromise: it still takes off enough material to level filler, and at the same time it does not leave grooves as deep as the coarser grits do. After it you usually move on to a finer sheet, or the primer will show up the marks from sanding. You can cut the sheet into smaller pieces to match the area you are working on and keep the rest for later. The sponge can also be washed out and reused as long as the abrasive holds, so one sheet will last for several models.
Sanding creates dust. Work with respiratory protection, especially when sanding resin or filler, and always wash the surface after work and let it dry before you paint. Keep out of the reach of children.
