Hetzer remote-controlled MG 34 1:48 from Special Hobby is a 3D-printed resin replacement for the roof machine gun mount of the tank destroyer.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on resin set, not a model of a vehicle. It offers a faithfully worked remote-controlled machine gun mount with an MG 34 that was placed on the roof of the Hetzer's fighting compartment and let the crew fire against infantry without having to climb out of the protected interior. The parts are printed by direct 3D printing with a high level of detail. The set is meant for models of the Hetzer tank destroyer in 1:48 scale.
The Jagdpanzer 38, nicknamed Hetzer, was a German light tank destroyer of the end of the Second World War. The roof remote-controlled mount with the MG 34 machine gun was among its characteristic features and reduced the crew's vulnerability when defending against infantry.
Separate the parts from the print supports carefully and wash them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. Lay down a primer before painting; the detail of the weapon comes out after a wash and a dry brush. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and a kit are not included in the package.
