An accessory set, not an aircraft kit. It includes two 3D-printed resin LAU-33 launch pods for Zuni rockets in 1:48 scale from the Reskit brand. Accurate shapes and detail replace the simplified box parts and bring the model's underwing ordnance to life.
The LAU-33 is a launch pod for five-inch (127 mm) unguided Zuni rockets. This ordnance appeared with both the US Navy and Army, typically on aircraft such as the F-4, F-8, or OV-10, especially during the Vietnam War.
Wash the parts to remove release agent and separate them from the print supports. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue), and wear respiratory protection when sanding. Apply a primer before painting; the pods are typically finished in matte camouflage shades.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and the base model are not included in the package.
