This is NOT a helicopter model but a detailed replacement part in resin: the complete tail (anti-torque) rotor of the Soviet Mil Mi-24 attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. The accurately made casting with its crisp edges replaces the plastic part of the base kit and is designed for the Mi-24 model from Zvezda.
The set refines the tail rotor: the blades, the hub and the mounting are rendered more faithfully than injection-molded plastic allows. It suits modelers who want to improve the rear end of the helicopter and reach display standard of detail.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks away carefully and sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), ideally with an activator. Apply primer before painting, which covers best with an airbrush.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
