Firma49 MP 40 1:48 is a resin, three-dimensionally printed set of small replicas of the German submachine gun for dioramas and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin, three-dimensionally printed set of miniature weapons in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It is not a kit but a fine accessory for arming figures and bringing a scene to life. Even in a small scale the printing preserves the characteristic silhouette of the submachine gun.
The MP 40 was a German submachine gun of the Second World War for the 9x19 mm Parabellum pistol cartridge. It was marked by all-metal construction, a folding shoulder stock and a simple build suited to mass production; it was widely used by Wehrmacht units, above all by squad leaders, paratroopers and vehicle crews.
Resin can be sanded and cut, but the parts are small, so handle them carefully. Before taking the supports off, dip them in hot water; the material softens and will not chip. Clean them in lukewarm soapy water, bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and apply primer. Protect your airways while sanding.
The set holds resin accessories, not paints, glue or figures, unless stated otherwise.
