Hasegawa 1:48 Nakajima Ki-43-I Hayabusa is a plastic kit of the Japanese army fighter of the Second World War, known to the Allies under the name Oscar.
Responsibility details are not available.
This quality injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa captures the Nakajima Ki-43-I army fighter, that is the Type 1 Hayabusa (Falcon). The model in 1:48 scale offers a finely engraved surface structure and clear canopy parts; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Ki-43 Hayabusa was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in the first years of the war in the Pacific. The Allies gave it the code name Oscar. It excelled in exceptional agility and low weight, though at the price of weaker armament and armor. The Ki-43-I version was the first production variant and was used from the beginning of the fighting in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Glue the parts with a liquid cement for plastic and make use of the fine panel lines for the panel work. Paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage. Lay a gloss varnish under the decals. An airbrush and a base coat will help you handle the typical Japanese camouflage schemes as well as the natural metal finish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
