The OH-13 Sioux was an American light observation and liaison helicopter with a piston engine and a two-blade main rotor. It became famous for its characteristic bubble-shaped glazed cabin and for its use during the Korean War, where it also served to evacuate the wounded on external litters. Later it carried out observation and training duties, and it was also built under license in Europe.
The most sensitive part is the bubble glazing: fit it dry first, glue it carefully with a cement that leaves no fogging, and mask it before painting. Finish the interior beforehand, because it is clearly visible through the glazing. Clean up the fine open framework of the rear end and the rotor with feeling, as the parts tend to be slender. Apply the paints with an airbrush and polish the metal areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
