An ox towing an Me 163B with Luftwaffe ground personnel is a resin set in 1:48 scale from CMK for a striking aviation diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:48 scale from CMK holds a figure of Luftwaffe ground personnel and a draft animal (an ox), ready to tow the Me 163 Komet rocket fighter across the airfield. The figures are modeled from a period photograph. It is a scenic accessory, not an aircraft kit.
Even advanced jet and rocket aircraft such as the Me 262 or the Me 163 were often moved around the airfield by draft animals in 1945, because of the shortage of fuel. Towing a Komet with an ox is therefore a historically documented and striking subject that illustrates the conditions of the time.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The animal calls for painting the coat with transitions and highlights; paint the personnel's uniform separately. The set comes out best on a base with airfield terrain together with a model of the aircraft.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
