Plus Model 1:48 Pilot MiG-15 is a resin figure of a pilot in 1:48 scale for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This one-piece resin figure represents a fighter pilot from the beginning of the jet era in period flying equipment, with a leather helmet and a life vest. The casting is finely worked out and serves to liven up a build and a diorama scene in 1:48 scale; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The pilot of an early jet fighter at the turn of the 1940s and 1950s still wore equipment close to that of the piston era: a leather or canvas flight suit, a helmet with goggles and a life vest. The figure captures the atmosphere of the beginnings of jet flying well and suits models from the period of the Korean War and of postwar training.
Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Cut off the casting block, sand the area and protect your airways. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). After the primer, shade the flight suit and the leather by layering and with fine oil glazes to bring out the folds.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
