A factory-finished collector model of the Japanese conventional Oyashio-class submarine in 1:700 scale from the brand Easy Model. The model is already assembled and painted and is supplied with a stand for display. It is not a kit: the example is ready to be displayed at once, with no gluing and painting.
The Oyashio-class submarines are diesel-electric attack submarines of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), taken into service from the late 1990s. They are marked by a characteristic hull with flank sonar panels and serve for anti-submarine and anti-ship warfare and for gathering intelligence. In their day they were among the quietest conventional submarines in the world.
Place the model on the enclosed stand somewhere out of direct sun. Wipe the dust off with a soft dry brush or a cloth; do not use solvents or aggressive cleaners. Given the tiny 1:700 scale, handle the model with care.
The model is supplied as a finished, factory-assembled and painted example intended for display; it is not a kit and nothing has to be glued or painted.
