The 10.5 cm L/62 barrel for the E-50 1:72 is a turned metal replacement for the barrel of the anti-tank gun for models of the German E-50 tank destroyer.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal gun barrel from the Polish company Aber for models of the German anti-tank self-propelled gun built on the E-50 chassis in 1:72 scale. The barrel of the long 10.5 cm (L/62) anti-tank gun replaces the plastic part from a kit with an accurate, perfectly straight metal part. It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory for the barrel.
The E-50 belonged to the German Entwicklung series of standardized tanks, which was to simplify the production of armored vehicles toward the end of the war. It stayed at the level of projects and paper studies, so it is a so-called what-if subject popular among modelers. The long L/62 gun was to give high penetration.
Cut the plastic barrel off, drill a hole in the remaining stub and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The metal version gives a perfectly straight barrel without a parting seam and with a faithful muzzle, which plastic often lacks.
This is an accessory for the barrel, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
