An accessory set for a model of the AH-64 attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. It refines the detail of a kit in places where an injection mold runs into its limits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AH-64 Apache is an American attack helicopter with a two-seat cockpit arranged in tandem. The gunner sits in front and the pilot higher up behind him, so he sees out over the gunner's head. A movable cannon sits under the front of the fuselage, and the stub wings carry pylons for rocket pods and guided missiles. In 1:72 scale the finished helicopter comes out fairly small, and sharply rendered details show all the more on it.
This is an accessory to a plastic Apache kit in 1:72 scale. The parts replace or complete parts of the kit with a shape and sharpness that injected plastic achieves only with difficulty. The exact composition of the set and the placement of the individual parts on the model are given in the manufacturer's instructions in the package. Before gluing it pays to seat the parts dry and check whether anything has to be sanded away on the model for them.
The set suits modelers who want to take an Apache build beyond the contents of the box and do not mind working with tiny parts. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
