An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Italeri, from newer tooling. The box contains gray plastic parts with finely engraved panel lines, clear parts, a photo-etched part and a decal sheet with several marking options. The kit therefore offers a solid level of detail even for collectors of modern combat aircraft.
The AMX Ghibli is a light single-seat attack and reconnaissance jet developed in international cooperation between Italian and Brazilian industry. It serves for attacks on ground targets, close air support and tactical reconnaissance. Thanks to its compact dimensions and its toughness it became the backbone of several squadrons and is a typical representative of the light attack machines of its generation.
Glue the plastic parts with thin cement for plastic and the photo-etched elements with cyanoacrylate. Apply a filler primer before painting, spray the camouflage shades with an airbrush and cover the surfaces with a gloss coat before the decals. A dark wash will bring out the panel lines, and a final matte coat will unify the whole model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
