Responsibility details are not available.
A kit in 1:72 scale from the HäT brand. The package holds three wagons, six figures of drivers in two poses and six horses, likewise in two poses. The parts are supplied unpainted and have to be assembled. The wagon is the usual type of supply vehicle of the British army in the colonies and complements the infantry and cavalry sets from the same maker.
In its colonial campaigns the British army used a standardized supply wagon that carried everything from ammunition to stores of water. Unlike the ox wagon, typical of southern Africa, it was drawn by horses or mules, which meant faster movement but also greater demands for feed and water. In the desert and the bush it was exactly the supply that tended to be a greater problem than the enemy.
Line the parts up dry first; the wheels have to stand upright and the axles straight. Do the wooden parts with an ocher base and a brown glaze along the grain, and darken the ironwork. Bring the horses together in two shades and set the harness apart. The load on the bed, that is crates, sacks and barrels, can be added from your own stores, and the wagon gains credibility by it.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
