Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains twelve riders in four poses and twelve horses, likewise in four poses, divided among three sprues. The figures are unpainted and the rider has to be seated in the saddle. The heavy cavalry forms the striking element of an Andalusian formation and complements the light riders and the infantry of the same range.
Andalusian heavy cavalry of the eleventh century combined elements of Eastern and European equipment. The riders wore chain mail and a helmet, were protected by a kite or a round shield and fought with lance and sword. Unlike the light skirmishers they attacked in a close formation, and their task was to decide the encounter by a direct shock. In the border war the retinues of Castilian and Leonese magnates met them again and again.
Wash the plastic, dry it and spray it with a flexible primer. Handle the chain mail with a dark base and a dry brush in a steel shade. Paint the shields in a uniform pattern by unit and the formation will gain the closeness that the light cavalry does not have. Bring the horses together into two shades. Glue the lances on at the very end and support them in the rider's palm.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
