This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. It replaces the engine exhaust nozzle with a part that has open petals, that is, in the position the nozzle moves to once the engine is shut down on a parked aircraft. This set is intended for the powerplant of the second of the two manufacturers that supplied engines for the F-16. The difference from the first manufacturer's unit is not cosmetic: the shape of the rear fuselage and the arrangement and number of the nozzle petals differ, so the rear end tells you which aircraft the modeler has in front of him. The wrong nozzle is therefore a mistake anyone who follows the type will notice.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole combat aircraft. Powerplants from two different manufacturers were used on it during production, and individual users chose between them. The differences are visible from outside precisely at the rear.
The set is for modelers of modern combat aircraft who want the right nozzle for a particular version of the machine. The work is not difficult, but it is preceded by a decision that cannot be made by eye.
It is not an aircraft model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
