This item is a decal sheet, not a model. It contains the main markings for F-16C aircraft and, with them, technical stencils, that is the small warning and service labels that are scattered all over the surface of the real aircraft. They are what makes the biggest difference on a model: without them the surface looks empty even when the camouflage is done faultlessly. The sheet is intended for aircraft of production blocks 30, 40, 42, 50 and 52 and it offers markings referring to completed combat missions, the symbols that the aircraft carried under the cockpit.

The real subject

The F-16C is the single-seat version of the single-engine multirole combat aircraft. The production blocks differ from each other in the powerplant, the electronics and the ability to carry particular weapons, and outwardly mainly in the shape of the rear fuselage and in small details on the spine. Mission markings were painted on the aircraft above all during operations in the Persian Gulf region and in the Balkans.

Usage tips

• Gloss coat the base under the decal; on a matte surface white patches appear under the film.
• Cut the motif out close to the edge of the print, because a wide film shows once it has dried.
• Dip the decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it will slide.
• Apply the technical stencils one at a time and check them against the diagram, because there are many of them.
• Once everything has dried, seal the whole model with a matte coat and the edge of the film will disappear into the surface.

The sheet is for modelers of modern combat aircraft who want a particular machine and not a generic type. Using it is simple; only the work with the technical stencils calls for patience and good light.

It is not a kit. A model, paints, decal softener and clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
