Kelik 1:72 F-5F is a set of decals for a model of the two-seat F-5F Tiger II aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory to a kit, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set of decals is intended for models of the two-seat version of the light supersonic F-5 aircraft in 1:72 scale. You will use it to finish the surface of the model, whether in place of the sheet from the box or as a supplement when the original is not good enough in the quality of its printing. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
The F-5F Tiger II is the two-seat variant of the light supersonic aircraft with a pair of turbojets, a slender fuselage and a small wingspan. Against the single-seat version it has a lengthened nose with a second seat, so the position of the cockpit and the distribution of the fuselage area the markings go on both change. The type made its name in its category thanks to undemanding operation and simple maintenance, and it served with a great number of users, often in the role of an advanced trainer as well as a light combat aircraft. It is precisely the broad user base that makes decal sets for the F-5 a rewarding accessory, because the same airframe carries very different finishes and markings.
The undercoat has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise air will stay under the decal and the edges will silver. Spray the area with a gloss varnish and let it cure. Release the decal in lukewarm water, transfer it with a brush and soak the surplus water away from the center toward the edges. Apply a decal softener in thin coats so that the motif lies down over the engraved lines and edges. In 1:72 scale the decals are small and fragile, so work with tweezers with smooth jaws and do not hurry to move them before the film gives. At the end cover everything with a matte or semi-gloss varnish and only then add a wash.
This is a separate set of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package unless stated otherwise.
