About product

A figure of a soldier with a 105 mm shell 1:72 (Spalah)

This resin 3D printed figure in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Spalah represents a soldier carrying a 105 mm artillery shell. It is a standalone figure to complete artillery scenes, not an equipment kit.

The real subject

A round of 105 mm caliber belongs to the light howitzers of that caliber. The figure captures the typical moment of supplying the weapon with ammunition and fits in well beside a gun crew and ammunition boxes in a scene.

Tips for working and painting

Wash the uncured resin residue off the part, carefully cut away the print supports and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In 1:72 scale work carefully. For painting, use a primer and acrylic paints with a brush, working out the uniform and the shell.

Who the figure is for

  • Builders of artillery dioramas and vignettes
  • More advanced modelers and figure painters used to resin
  • Collectors of figures in a small scale

The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin model. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
