Italeri 1:72 French Grenadiers (Napoleonic Wars) is a set of many small plastic figures of French grenadiers of the Imperial Guard, meant for dioramas and tabletop games in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a numerous group of small injection-molded plastic figures of French grenadiers from the period of the Napoleonic Wars in 1:72 scale. The figures are in various poses and with period arms; the box holds roughly fifty of them on several sprues. This is the Italian brand Italeri; the figures come unassembled and unpainted.
The grenadiers of the foot regiment of the Imperial Guard formed the backbone of the so-called Old Guard of Napoleon Bonaparte. They were picked from seasoned veterans and generally committed as a reserve at the deciding moments of battles. A characteristic mark was the tall bearskin and the blue coat with long tails.
Separate the small figures carefully from the sprue and clean up the mold seams. Given the small scale, we recommend a primer and painting with quality brushes; the uniforms and buttons come out well after a fine highlight (drybrush) and a thin wash. The set can be painted in larger batches at once.
The figures come unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included unless stated otherwise.
